Alert activity
A delivery log of every alert a workspace's monitors have fired recently — what happened, where it went, and whether it was delivered.
Alert activity is the delivery log for a workspace — every alert its monitors have fired recently, so you can confirm the right notifications went to the right places. Find it under Settings → Workspace → Integrations → Alert activity.
What it shows
Each row is one alert, with:
- Time — when it fired.
- Monitor — which monitor triggered it.
- Event — DOWN, RECOVERY, SSL/domain expiring, missed heartbeat, or latency degradation.
- Channels — the alert channels it was sent to.
- Status — Delivered, or Retried if a channel was temporarily unreachable and Spectra tried again.
Filter the log
Narrow the view by:
- Time range — last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
- Monitor — a single monitor, or all.
- Channel — a specific destination, or all.
Retention
Alert activity is kept for 30 days on current plans. Older entries roll off, so export or review anything you need for longer-term records.
Why it’s useful
- Confirm delivery — verify a critical DOWN alert actually reached your on-call channel.
- Debug quiet channels — a channel that never appears here may be disabled or misconfigured.
- Post-incident review — see the exact alert timeline when piecing together what happened during an incident.
