Monitor Detail

Read a ping monitor's detail view — reachability, latency, packet loss, per-region, and incidents.

The monitor detail view shows how a ping monitor is performing. Open it by clicking any monitor in Monitors.

Current status

The live state — Up, Down, or Paused — with the host and current round-trip time.

Latency

A latency graph plots round-trip time over your selected window. Rising latency, especially from regions close to your users, is an early warning even before the host becomes unreachable.

Packet loss

Packet loss is tracked as a percentage. Sustained loss often signals network trouble ahead of a full outage — worth watching even when availability still reads 100%.

Per-region results

Results are broken down by region, so you can tell a genuine outage (unreachable everywhere) from a regional routing problem (unreachable from one location).

Recent checks and incidents

A log of recent checks shows each ping’s result and timing. Any incidents are listed with their timeline and duration for review.
